Bio

I began my life of in water activities from a very early age. I started Snorkeling way back in 1975 and Scuba Diving in 1983. I became a PADI Dive Master in 1988 and an Instructor in 1997. I skipped mainstream teaching and began my career as a Photo Video Pro with Ocean & Earth Multimedia who ran the Photo Video services upon Mike Ball Dive expeditions vessels www.mikeball.com in Northern Australia. My first assignment was on ?Watersport? doing trips to the Great Barrier Reef and to the World Famous ?S.S.Yongala? Wreck. I also worked on SpoilSport doing trips to the Coral Sea and diving the word famous ?Scuba Zoo?. This was to be my playground for the next 3 years. I left Australia for the United states in July 2000 and not long after, I landed a short time position as the Photo Video Pro with Peter Hughes diving www.peterhughes.com working on the ill-fated vessel Wave Dancer, that sunk in an Hurricane in 2001.

In May of 2001 I secured a full time position as the Manager and resident Photo Video Pro of Rainbow Visions Photography www.rainbowvisionsbvi.com on the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, owned and operated by Jim & Odile Scheiner for nearly 17 months.

To date I have filmed, produced and edited some 500 Trip videos. As an avid wreck diver I have had the Pleasure to Dive the ?S.S. Yongala? Australia?s number one wreck dive, more than 250 times, and at least 300 dives on the wreck of the World famous RMS Rhone in the British Virgin Islands and recently captured the perils of WWII by diving the Wrecks of Chuuk Lagoon. Over the last 20 years I have taken some 60,000 images above and below the surface. Though the foundation of my photography is in underwater subject matter, in recent years I have broadened my horizons to include many different aspects of land photography. My choice of subjects are varied and are selected to challenge me at all times. I hope my gallery supports this by allowing you to view some of my best work from all over the world.
